Click a bridge to edit its ψ-value and reference — or split it
(e.g. 4m of a 12m lintel now Hi-therm) with lengths derived from the windows.
Nothing is uploaded anywhere; files never leave this machine.
Edits the ψ-value, reference and source of any thermal bridge across a site's Elmhurst SAP XMLs, and splits bridges where part of a junction uses a different product — e.g. 4m of a 12m lintel run switching to Hi-therm. Only the Thermal Bridges block is rewritten; everything else in each file is preserved byte-for-byte.
By house type is the working view — one card per bridge per house type. By junction groups the whole site by junction and then by ψ-value / reference (not length), so you can see at a glance where e.g. two different lintel ψs are in play and edit all matching bridges at once. By plot shows every bridge individually. The window junctions box narrows to lintels, sills and jambs, and shows each house type's window-derived lengths alongside the entered ones for reference.
Lintel and sill lengths derive from window widths; jambs from 2 × height — each times the opening count. Doors are included for lintels and jambs but excluded from sills by default (tick them in the picker to override). Rooflights are left to their separate R junctions. Derived totals are shown for reference only — the tool never forces them to match.
Check on first re-import: this tool does not touch ThermalBridgesYvalue. Your files use CalculateBridges, so Elmhurst should recalculate the Y-value from the edited bridge list when the file is re-imported — double-check the first one. If Elmhurst keeps the stale value instead, come back to us and we'll write the recalculated value directly.
No data leaves your laptop — files are processed entirely in the browser.
